I liveon the Bath borders too so the Taunton racing sounds like a good place to start. I'm a bit nervous about looking an utter fool though as my dogs are just pets that potter about the fields not honed athletes! I will give them a call though to see what the score is. Thanks for the advice...

I have two whippets,one of which is super quick, and I thought that it'd be great fun to race her. I don't know anything about racing so don't know if it's possible to do just for fun. Does anyone know about this? I live in on the Wilts/Glouc borders. Many thanks :)

Hi All I am looking for a new collar but want something a bit sanzzier than a plain brown/black. I can only find 'normal' dog collars that are interesting nothing for a Whippet. Can anyone tell me where I can try? Thanks from Tania and Billy

Hi there Not sure if this is ok to do but I am desperately looking for a rescue Whippet, I have a 4 year old already. I live just outside Bath, so possibly in your area? and would love to have the chance of adopting him. I hope he finds his owners though but if he doesn't I'm in the wings...

Hi there, I am seeking a whippet or whippet/bedlington terrier rescue dog/bitch. I have a whippet already and want to give a home to another one. I can't seem to find any rescue society's, apart from JR Rescue, at all and wondered if anyone had any details of where I can start my search. Thanks
