Sorry to get everyones hopes up, by bumping up the thread but I think it's good to keep it fresh in everyones mind

Thanks everyone, I know dogs just don't disappear!? I long to know where she is, I search the lost dog forums everyday in hope. She was wearing a collar, I just find it so hard to believe that the first person to catch her was a dishonest person. But where else could she be? Even if she had died somewhere, I'm sure someone would have seen her tag & phoned me. I have no reason to think her collar/tag would have come off, it never has before. It makes me crazy not knowing! I miss her so badly :'(

Sorry if people get their hopes up when they see this thread bumped up, but each time at least one new person finds out about Luci so it's definatly a good thing.

*fingers crossed* everyone! :luck: :luck: :luck: :luck:

Easter thoughts for little Luci. :luck: :luck: :luck:

Thankyou Janimal! :) It makes me extra sad going on long walks with the other dogs in this lovely weather & not having Luci there. Hopefully she'll be back soon... :luck: :luck: :luck: :luck:

Still keeping my fingers crossed that Luci comes home soon , This time last year one of my cats Flyod went missing :( he came back after the 4 longest days of my life , seems like hed been shut somewhere over the hols , . How youve managed to keep going after all this time :( , I just wish you could have her home :luck: :luck: :luck:

one of my cats has gone walkabout since last night, and I haven't been able to give him his eczema meds this morning :(

the other one I found last week shut in our own shed :b which was a bit embarrassing.

I simply can't imagine how awful it must be for you, Luci's mum.

Yes Helen and Jax - cats seem to make a habit of this though :( My Meeko the ginger was was also missing for 4 days - you feel so helpless and can only put posters out and check sheds garages, ask neighbours etc. Then they seem to just turn up one day which is brilliant.

Lets hope Luci  just turns up one day soon. I cant imagine what you are going through.

Has your cat come back Helen?

I mentioned it earlier but my cat went missing for 12 weeks (w00t) then just turned up wondering what all the fuss was about :*

What I find hard to understand is that if someone has taken Luci in you'd think they would notice that she's a much loved pet already that's what is annoying  and she has such distinct markings so if someone has she will get spotted sooner or later, still keeping everything crossed :luck: :luck:

I thought I'd lost one of my cats aswell last week! But wasn't too worried because that particular cat loves being outside hunting for long periods, & then when the weather wasn't so nice she came back - found her snuggled up with my other two cats!

Missing Luci so much, it's really awful. I think about her all the time, I try not to too much because it makes me cry. She was my pick of the litter. She's such a darling I'm not suprised that someone would want to keep her. She's incredibly beautiful & so, so sweet.

Thankyou as always for your sweet thoughts...x :))

Have you offered a reward Lucis mum - just wondering incase someone has kept her with breeding in mind, and her VALUE of course.

Just a thought, could you contact your local tv, may be they would do a peice about her.

Thinking of you and fingers crossed for a happy ending :luck: :luck: :luck:

I agree! She's clearly a much loved pet, she has a lovely personality plus she was lost wearing a collar with ID & a brand new fleece-lined waterproof Whippet coat!! I'd say that anyone could see she was much loved! Plus she does loads of tricks, which they must realise that someone took the time to teach those all to her. She loves to ride in the car, shes house trained...the list goes on!

Though there are frequently travellers in this area who go trespassing to go hare coursing. I'm sure they wouldn't think twice about taking her, she'd make a great hare coursing dog. She loves to hunt & is very fast (fastest in the litter).

Yes I am very lucky that Luci has such distinct markings! Imagine if she was solid black? No one would be sure whether it was her or not.

Thanks for :luck: Lesley! x

The posters all say cash reward, I didn't put an exact amount, I thought that would hopefully be enough. Do you think I should put an amount? So many people know she's missing, I go up to strangers asking about her & they already know about her from the posters. Which is nice, but still seems to not be getting me any closer to her.

I could try getting on tv but usually I think they are more interested in dogs that have been stolen from there homes/outside shops/cars. So many dogs are stolen everyday in this country, its such a serious problem! Would be great to get her picture on tv though.

Mr Cat (Jasper) has just wandered in the back door shouting for his food  and had the nerve to try and scratch me when I popped his tablet down his throat  Honestly! Relieved to see him back, although he didn't hang around for long. He's trotted off again. Must be the nice weather we're having!

Just a thought on the reward maybe if you put substantial or large( that way it's not an actual amount but makes it sound good)to catch people's eye, it may make people look a bit more close and if someones got her it may make the people around them think twice about getting her back to you, money is a good persuader.Greed is a powerful thing.

If you wanted to make the reward larger I for one would be happy to make a contribution towards and I'm sure I wouldn't be alone there are a lot of good people on here who want her to be home with her mum :huggles:

Glad Jasper's home Helen

there's no reason not to believe she hasn't been stolen you could say it was from your garden you wouldn't be being dishonest I'd go for it, do have regional tv like we have calendar for local news?

You are too sweet Lesley! What a lovely offer, I am touched. :)) But I should be able to find a reasonable amount of money between my OH & myself. But thankyou so much! :huggles:

Did you hear about the Bull terrier that was stolen (top show dog, went to Crufts), the owner paid the ransom of £25,000 to get him back!!

I'll see what I can do about a tv appeal & will make new posters saying substantial reward. Thanks for the tips.
