Herts - Whippet Missing

Fingers crossed that with the network of support in missing dogs and animal welfare, she will turn up safe and sound. I can't even start to imagine your pain, not knowing is the worst. :luck: in finding her, she looks very special!
 
Thanks guys. Yes I am glad that there are so many people that know she is missing, I truly hope we can be reunited no matter how long it takes (have read about people being reunited years later!). Still gutted that I never chipped her, I always intended to.

Yes Luci is so special, a real character! I miss her so much especially her voice, she's always been such a vocal dog (much more than the other dogs). If you ever disturbed her whilst she was sleeping (no matter how tiny the disturbance) she would always grumble her annoyance (in a cute way!). And always gave a 'warbling-howl' when I'd prepare sup-sups for her. And it feels strange that I can always find my shoes now, Luci has always been obsessed with shoes! Never destroys them but just enjoys moving them around the house (& garden!).

Just can't wait to have my little angel home...
 
I can't imagine how heart wrenching it must be with Luci missing. Thinking loads about you and really hoping that she is found soon. :(
 
Only just read this post :( I cant imagine how I would cope with life if one of my `gang `went missing . :( I really feel for you . please let us have an update . Good news would be best :luck:
 
Ive somehow missed this too - my heart bleeds for you. It is bad enough if they got out of sight for a while - the panic sets in, but to go through this - its aweful. :(

I do hope you find that gorgeous darling soon, Lucy is beautiful, :wub: and prey she is still safe at least.

I wonder if someone has found her and simply decided to keep her. It's thought to happen a lot.

Hey everyone, forgive my late responce but I have been away, just got back today. I'm sorry to say that there has been zero news about Luci, not a thing. I just keep praying it won't be much longer, it's the pups 1 year birthday on the 22nd March; we're having a reunion of the whole litter. It'd be truly wonderful if she came home, but with absolutely no news it's very hard to stay positive.

My poor baby, I just wish I knew that she's okay. It's been so long now, it's so awful not knowing...I think either someone has found her & decided to keep her (she's so beautiful & friendly, a real sweetheart) or she is a hare coursing dog for some gypsy if that's the case I may get her back one day when she has served her purpose. *Fingers crossed* I'll get some news :luck:

I read about missing dogs once in a while, and it's always sad, but sometimes a story just touches you. I am crossing everything in the hope that she comes home to you. :luck:
 
ive only just seen this.i cant imagine the stress and worry you are going through.ill say a prayer for your little luci tonight. :luck: :(

This is so sad. I don't know wht i'd do if anything like this happened to any of my 2. It must be terrible not knowing what has happened to your beautiful girl. Still keeping my fingers crossed for safe return. :luck: :luck: :luck:
 
Every time I see this thread 'bumped up' and a new last name .... I think oh good news about Luci..... :( but alas nothing yet - she must be somewhere - Dogs just dont dissappear do they?? :luck:
