8) Hi Everyone I thought that I would let everyone know that Scratch is doing ok, she finds walking hard work but shes happy and eating well. meanwhile I have been making a whippet themed quilt which I am currently working on and will be selling on ebay eventually to raise money for the PDSA...

This is so good that they are beginning to get used to one another and become pals. When i got Alice for Scratch to have a playmate several years ago the owner of the kennels where I got her from said ooo,,,, they will not get on with them both being bitches.... i had to introduce them slowly...

Thankyou so much for your messages of support for me and Scratch, it does help knowing that other dogs have had this done. In protest and frustration Scratch has just pulled all the wadding out of her bandaging and looking like some modern art piece with wadding pulled out all over the place...

.. Im pleased to see that other dogs cope well with amputations... as its a decision I have to make for my whippet-deerhound Scratch Faithx :D
