I’ve just seen on my local Facebook feed that a new zebra foal born during lockdown has died at Noah’s Ark Zoo.
They believe the firework displays scared the foal and when it spooked it ran straight into its enclosure wall and died on impact :-( it’s so sad.
I have followed the case a bit and my personal opinion is that the relationship as a whole sounded very toxic.
It seems like there was suffering and wrong from both sides. Even harder with it being such a high profile case watching both of their personal lives be pulled apart by the media.

Hello All,
just wanted to say I’m sorry if you’ve had trouble accessing the forum today we’ve had some technical glitches!
Should be back in action now.
Hope all your dogs are ok over firework night x
I’m so sorry to hear this. It’s the hardest thing we’ve ever had to do and we still think about him all the time. I never stop thinking how unfair it is that they can’t live as long as us
Dennis would have been 13 today - we miss him terribly. What I would do for another cuddle or to hear the sound of him dreaming in his bed.
I wouldn’t say things have got easier as time has gone on but they have got busier with a now 5 month old baby. I’m so thankful for her to take my mind...
Wow how exciting @Finsky and thank you for sharing this journey with us!
@excuseme did a wonderful puppy diary where we all got to share her journey and it was great. I also think important educational experience for people to understand how the whole process works (properly!)

Sorry to hear this @Hemlock having recently gone through this myself I really feel your pain and made even harder with what’s going on at the moment :-(
Our vets wouldn’t allow us inside and instead had set up a closed gazebo outside where we could be with him. It was actually very peaceful...
Yes thank you both @JudyN and @JoanneF
Always full of great information and help to others and now they can point people in the right direction instead of write it out each time :D:D
I’m so sorry to hear this @Lmm955 - I recently lost my black lab at 12 1/2 which I felt was to young but in the end his legs failed him.
I truly feel your pain :-(
Hi @lurcherman
I was the one that removed the post and as Judy mentions above, although we do have a general discussions section I found that lately this was becoming a place to vent (some comments quite aggressive) and it is taking focus away from the dog related conversations.
please feel...
