Trips before second injections

When I was in France a few years ago, a little boy of about 4 was being taught manners. His parents had him go to every person in the restaurant and shake hands with the men, and kiss the ladies on the cheek - very typically French, before @lurcherman jumps on me! :D

@Finsky, maybe we have better-trained children round our way. Or maybe the muzzle makes a difference, though it certainly doesn't deter a lot of people, children or adults!

Well..I suppose it could be the dog's size too...your will appear quite a towering one, where as mine are handily down to their level.
Maybe I need to wear muzzle to keep the little bleeders away! :D

Oh the french , oooom, polite, ooom, ok its there culture to kiss and shake hands, I wouldn’t like it to be honest, always thought the french was dirty smelly things, I played darts for years and I gave the faintest of shakes as it’s not my thing, I liked winning as they never seemed to want to shake after I’d kicked there butt, I’d like to say if there’s any french on site then I’m so sorry soooo very sorry if I offended you

I don’t speak to kids of today as most are lying brats who can get people in trouble with their lies, I also had a kid ask to stroke my dog I replied no and he took a swing at my 14 yr old dog, geez I almost lost it .
A few years ago we were walking around one of our local car boot sales with a couple of the dogs. A toddler acme over and went to stroke my old lady, (although she would have been 100% safe and would have loved it) I told the child that she should ask before touching a strange dog. The mother then came storming over and gave me a dam good bollocking:oops::eek: for having a dangerous dog in such a busy place!! Howzato_O
.I continued walking:mad:

@lurcherman , you don't need to be French to find that offensive and racist. Your post has been reported by a member, and I have to say I agree with them. Please do avoid racism in future posts.

Yep excuseme that’s the new breed dragged up mothers of today, they know there kid is a pain and in the wrong but stick up for them 100% instead of tanning their butts , I keep myself to myself, even my closest of closest of friends don’t see me for ages hehe,

Oh your joking lol what for saying there dirty and smelly geez get a life, I’ve came across a few and they was dirty and smelly so only repeating what I seen , racist geez .

This thread is starting to sound like Monty Python’s ‘The Four Yorkshireman’ sketch:D

I feel the need to speak up for all the well-mannered children that always ask before they approach our dog (unlike grown-ups who seldom do). Our dog is also large so this might be the reason. He is also used to children; I appreciate I might feel differently if I had a nervous / reactive dog.

Well-mannered dogs that know how to behave around children, now we don’t see so many of them these days;)

When I had A shih Tzu as well as my Whippet, one day we were out, two primary age kids, a boy and a girl were with their mum, (well ok it might have been their maiden aunt I never asked). The girl called 'Excuse me can we stroke your dogs please?'. I said of course and took them over, as we got close both kids kneeled down and waited for the dogs to get close allowing them to sniff the kids before they stroked them. And they stroked very nicely, leaving their heads alone and doing it gently. Both dogs loved it. I thanked them, and told the lady they were lovely children. But have to admit they were exceptional.

Lurcherman these kind of comments will not be tolerated on this forum. Yes this may be your opinion on the French but please keep it to yourself. I have received several complaints about your inappropriate comments on this forum and I’m afraid if I receive anymore I’ll have to remove you. Which I really don’t want to do

Ok josie, I honestly don’t see it as racist thow , too much pc from a changing world, I accept I’m a bit close to the bone at times but ok I will accept your warning instead of carrying it on.
