Hiking has become somewhat of a hobby lately. Clears the head quite well
We started with much shorter distances, but now Miles can easily handle 5-6 hr hikes in the mountains.
An our and a half drive. But it's worth it. We spend the day in the mountains, with breaks, lunch, looking for gigantic porcupines up in the trees, etc. Miles is like a prudent tourist, goes to every ledge to look down, often scaring my dearest wife to death. On the way back we usually stop at an old cute university town for coffee. Good coffee and good vibe (college kids and town residents seem to be enjoying the nice weather). It's dark by the time we get back home, but a day well spent. Best on a Saturday, when you still have Sunday to relax or catch up on chores.
How old is he now btw?
. No longer the Baby Miles he used to be! 
Oh they are always babies, no matter the size. I don't know about you but in my head, mine are always stuck into certain age and it is very hard to truly see how they change when they get older.The boy will be 2 y.o. at the end of November
