We went ferreting this afternoon for an hour and i took some pics so thought i would share. We had two rabbits at the end of the day, would have had three but one got away. Not the biggest bag we have had but still throughly enjoyed it as did the dogs and ferret. (Gun)

My OH always goes for lurchers with collie in them. He works his greyhound bitch and she is a cracker in the field but she just doesnt have the stamina of a lurcher. I definately agree with you, there is no way a whip/grey has the recovery rate and stamina like a good lurcher IMHO but im sure...
