Expect to be canonized ere lunchtime or there’s no moral justice.
I married a saint many years ago and she’s very much alive. Just see my furrowed brow. However we spend more time laughing.Hang on a min - don't I have to be dead before I can be canonised? I've gone off the idea...
This year I've heard so many people mentioning how bad tick year it has been so far. Yes, we've found some on ours too. I bought once tick collars for ours but I had to take them off after only a day....I just could not bare the smell and if I could smell them, they must stink to the dogs noseThank you both.
I discovered two more ticks on him this afternoon. Will definitively need to try something, otherwise I’m going to have to carry the tick remover around with me all summer
.. You need to take one of those small camping chairs/stool with you when that happens....at least it would look like 'break time' rather than emergency situation.I do wish Jasper wouldn't settle down for mid-walk snoozes in verges right next to roads...

This was his second stop on the way home (despite the round trip being just a little over 1km). The first time was outside someone's house, and they asked if he'd like them to bring out some water, which was lovely of them althugh I had some with me. The second time, a woman saw I was holding my phone so was worried he'd collapsed and I was calling for help. He does do a very good impression of a dead dog, I must say.
That just reminded me of when I used to walk 'my' Leonberger cross, I was stood waiting to cross a road with him once and a little boy was stood next to us with his mum saying 'wow, look at that horse mummy!' and no matter how many times she said that actually that was a dog, he always replied ' no mummy that's a horse!' as if she was being totally daft! That's at least the third time a child has compared Jasper to a camel.
