well Lucindaberet has gone.not surprised really,she wasnt ever really going to be suitable for surallans style of business.not that that doesnt mean shes good at her job or that shes failed far from it.but i just dont think shes cut from the same cloth as him and they just wont get on.last night surallan decided rather than fire 3 of them and have 2 in the final hes going to just fire Lucinda and keep the other 4 in as he said theyre all good and deserving of their place.i didnt like what Alex did in the boardroom when he told surallan that Lucinda didnt really want the job.very nasty,spiteful and backbiting but it aint the first time hes done this is it? :- " i wasnt that surprised that one of them had lied on his cv(lets be honest we all do it!)but for Lee to say hed done 2 years at uni only to be shown a letter from the uni saying that hed only attended for 4 months!talk about porkies!well if youre going to tell a lie might as well make it a big 'un! :teehee: he was given 2 chances to come clean and tell the truth but he didnt.i dont like that.makes me wonder what else he will lie about.Clurr did well in the interviews and shes still my favourite to win. but she'll have :lol: to shut up and listen!!! :lol:

oooops!just realised id forgot to mention Helene,sorry about that but she is so forgettable isnt she? o:)

Oh dear Lee lied on his CV and nobody does that :- " showed initative give that man a job

Alex is a sly snidey backstabbing mummys boy, i like how he was close to "losing it" when they put him under pressure but he is only 23!! how many times did he make reference to his AGE!! The interviewer that stood up for him because he was working on a commision only basis wants his nuts feeling :clown:

I do think he gave a poor interview but he must be doing something right as he got the best feedback by far.

Think it is between him and Claire for the final now. :cheers:
 
Lee was silly to lie on his CV and when he had the chance to come clean he didn't.

I have NEVER lied on my CV, it only comes back to haunt you if you lie.

I am looking forward to the final.

I have never lied about qualifications but I have lied about my hobbies and interests :lol: I mention all the clubs I belonged at uni (just didn't mention the fact that I never went to any of them :lol: ), I sound rather interesting on my cv when really all I like to do is walk the dogs :b

Having said that, my fave to win is still Lee but I think it might be Claire. I don't like that Alex however I can't blame him for being a bit snide in the board room, telling them what Lucinda had said, because I would be damn annoyed myself if she had been going round saying that and I really wanted the job.

Its funny how when her interviews were going badly she wondered whether she wanted the job, but when her interviews were going well she suddenly changed her mind and said she really did want it :wacko: defence mechanism perhaps??? She knew she'd messed up so she came out with the old 'Well I didn't want the job anyway'!!! :lol:

I had to turn the volume down when Lee kept telling that model to look at the guy like she really wanted him!!! It was just too embarrassing to listen to any longer :oops:

I think Clurr should have won, but glad for Lee who would have been my second choice :thumbsup:

Alex let himself down when he had to have it prised out of him that the design of the dual bottle came from the designers - the cost of it was ultimately their downfall :thumbsup:
 
well i think we all knew it was between clurr and lee but tbh i dont agree with surallans choice.clurr was the better of the 2 candidates and she proved she could change and she listened to surallans criticisms and acted on them.i think surallan made the wrong choice the other year when he picked michelle instead of ruth(the badger)when he was asked in the after the program show why hed let michael stay when he patently should have gone he said 'i dont know.my wife asked me the same thing and it was something i saw in him but i cant remember what it was.' :blink: has the great man finally lost the plot i ask? :unsure: i think the vast majority of people questioned by gmt said theyd pick clurr and she was the obvious choice so all i can think of is surallans decision was based on something we didnt see and we werent shown.what on earth will we do with our wednesday nights now? :(

Well my Apprentice watching buddies I feel I let you down. I had to go out last night and have only just caught up.

My thoughts on the four candidates:-

Lee, well that was a bit of a shock but he looked 'well appy' to have won. I hope he enjoys the job but a note for his future customers, for goodness sake check everything he has written down and make sure it is 'kosher', and Lee please, please use the spell-chequer.!

Clurr, good try there but Surallan has a bit of a problem with strong women. Get out there now and make a fortune slagging off all the other candidates, but be warned leave Margaret alone.

Alex. Why did he not insist on calling the fragrance [SIZE=14pt]24[/SIZE], what an oversight, what a shame, what a plonker. So chuffed he got Helene and so chuffed they lost. Nothing personal Alex I am sure for your age you are the total package but bog off now.

Helene, if only you had smiled, if only you had woken up, if only you had thought of a name and if only you had remembered that the golden rule of business is 'how much is it and how much is in it for me'.

Who would I have hired, well, I would still go with my original thought Simon. I know I could leave my business with him go away for a while and know it would still be there upon my return. He would have upset no-one and my customers would still be my friends.

Same place next year folks :thumbsup:
