I would like to say we had a really good day and a big thank you to all who came along today and supported us from other clubs. Well done to all winners your dogs were little troupers to put up with our Northern weather. The blustery gales and lashing rain gave us a mighty challenge. All went extremely well. I would also like to say a big thank you to all my Northern comrades as we pulled together as a perfect team to produce a near perfect open event.Inspite of the weather we all found something to laugh about even if it was my gaffs on the mike.Sorry Rob it's Laika Angel not Devil but there were several Devils entered.Many thank to all who came once more and I hope you had a safe journey home. :cheers:

We would like to say thank- you to Sue Greenwood and all our Northern comrades for such warming hospitality and friendly welcome :thumbsup: .The track was A1 as was the general spirit of the meeting,This was our first visit to you,but we look foward to many more in the future.(it was also nice to see the Scottish Whippetiers)Who due to the milage rarely get to venture down this way.Our little girls seemed also to like your track with Uptown Girl winning her group and sis Summa Breeze finishing 3rd(trapped by the lovely Sarah(Dee's Double )think she's got a job now :thumbsup: ,also well done to Deadly Cocktail(Mum & Dad well chuffed i know)The Supreme was breath taking well done to Diamond Geezer :sweating: :cheers: .All in all great................. just one thing..... could you sort the weather next time x

As for the weather.....we're stuck with it.....good for grass growing.

Good job whippets can move fast they can run between the drops.

A brilliant open - we enjoyed every minute (well apart from the odd shower)

This was the first open that has been organised by the majority of the Northern members, and first open for racing manager Barry Jepson. They all did a fantastic job, and brought the Northern back to its former reputation of being a friendly, easy-going, well organised place to be.

Well done Sue on the tannoy - we thought you were great :thumbsup:

Must mention Lucas too - great bike riding, and thanks for the lift

See you all next year for the 20th Anniversary :cheers:

Sounds like it was a good open so well done to the organisers.

Wish I'd seen Diamond Geezer win the supreme. Bet that was a good race. I know it has been done quite a few times before but when a big dog comes from behind on a bend it always makes a great race to watch. Well done!
