Northern Open Results

We would like to thank everybody for coming to the Northern open. I know a lot of you came a very long way, to make it a very memorable day. :cheers:

Well done to all the finalists :cheers: Some cracking racing & some close finishes! :thumbsup: It was very nice to meet & greet new people.

The Northern team were fantastic :thumbsup: Real team work :cheers:

Looks like you had a great day WELL DONE everyone :cheers: . Sorry I couldn't be there, but I'm working in the U.S.A. at the moment, it's 4.30am here, and somebody will pick me up to go to work in 20 mins......I can see the Open went very well without me {surprise, surprise :b ]......as usual great team work by the Northern....see you all soon.
 
It's our 20th anniversary next year and 21st the year after, can we celebrate twice? We could have a coming of age do in 2008 (w00t)

I dunno the lengths that some people will go to to get out of helping at an open. The US is rather far though. BTW your wife was very........................... well let's just say that if she had said jump people would have. :lol: Dunno why I'm saying that you know best what she's like. :huggles:

BTW did anyone get a photo of the gazebo taking off? I missed it. I liked the raffle too in case anyone didn't notice. :) Love the black and white whippet coaster that I won. Oh and the bottles of fizzy too. Oh yes! :lol:
 
don't think anyone got a picture of the Gazebo we were all hanging onto it for all we were worth. It's now been relegated to the bin. Soz Norman and Christine. I think it fancied going to Blackpool for the illuminations. Are you trying to say I was Bossy. You all did as you were told I've smacked peoples bottoms for not doing what I wanted. :- "

Barb, you are so lucky to have won the coaster, & Carol won a keyring.

They are fab, Chris a member of our club makes them, he is so talented :thumbsup:

JUST LIKE TO SAY A BIG THANK YOU ALL AT THE NORTHERN FOR A GREAT DAY OUT RACING YESTERDAY FROM MYSELF MANDY THOMSON(MANDYRFC I AM USING BRIANS PC BECAUSE MINE IS BROKE JUST NOW.,) MY HUSBAND DEREK AND OUR FRIENDS BRIAN AND NETTIE THOMSON, AND OF COURSE OUR BOY "COISTY" (BLUEBOY) AND THEIR BIG BOY "ZAC" (HIGHLAND LADDIE).

IT WAS GREAT TO JUST SIT BACK AND WATCH ALL THE GREAT RACES, SOME OF THE RACES WERE VERY CLOSE AND THE MAIN SUPREME FINAL WAS SOMETHING SPECIAL. ALTHOUGH ZAC HAD TRIED HIS BEST TO TIRE DIAMOND GEEZER DOWN LOL.

WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT YEAR WHEN OUR DEEDEE AND HATELEY AND OF COURSE ZEKE AND ZOE OF BRIAN AND NETTIES WILL HOPEFULLY BE ABLE TO RUN.

ANYWAY THANKS TO ALL THE PEOPLE THAT WE MET YESTERDAY AND MADE US FEEL SO WELCOME.

P.S. HOPE HATELEY DIDN'T DAMAGE YOUR FENCE TO MUCH WHEN HE TRIED TO RUN THROUGH IT AFTER HIS TRIAL.

SO ALL THE BEST FROM THE S.P.W.R.C. AND ROLL ON NEXT YEAR.

DEAR BEEJAY IT WAS A GREAT DAY AND DID YOU GET ANYMORE PICS ( MAYBE SOME OF THE FINISHES ) HOPE TO MEET YOU AGAIN SOONER RATHER THAN LATER AND OF COURSE FINALEZ AS WELL DID'N'T YOUR 2 GIRLS "UPTOWN GIRL" AND "SUMMER BREEZE" DO BRILLIANT. tHAT LITTLE FAWN PUP OF YOURS IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GORGEOUS, I THINK SHE STOLE DEREKS HEART.LOL.

AND CAROL THANKYOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP ANDWE ARE SO GLAD THAT YOUR BOY DID NOT GET LOST TODAY AS WE WOULD HAVE BEEN SO GUILTY AS WE WERE JUST SITTING EATING OUR BREAKIE WHEN YOU WENT OUT AT ABOUT 60, GLAD IT WAS A HAPPY ENDING AS DEREK WOULD HAVE CHASED HIM FOR MILES WITH THAT SAUSAGE LOL.
 
The flaming thing was looking for food. He went into the chicken sheds.My car stunk to high heaven all the way home, I can assure you it wasn't pleasant. I'm going to increase his food intake when the champs are over. He'll be the fattest whippet you'll ever see but at least i wont have to chase him again. He won't be able to move. (w00t) If it wasn't for the look on my face when i swung back on to the carpark he would have had the sausage aswell. Thanks for coming down to the open hope you'll join us again next year.It was good fun. :cheers:

Well it's probably put them out of their misery - poor things :(

I still remember a few years ago when we sat in Judy and Nigel's awning, and an escaped chicken was outside having the time of its life being free - we had fun watching it as it enjoyed its newfound freedom, and threw it a few scraps to eat.

Well i suppose if they aren't there he wont be tempted through the fence.Wishful thinking on my part.Barney is a right git but only i can love him :wub:
