Life is funny really after saying we wouldn't get another sighthound and would be able to go more places with the Jack Russell's...we had more freedom life was easier ...but it felt empty to us ...
Sykes has filled the sighthound hole and made us realise we could Never or Would never want to be without one :D:)

You can actually see this boy growing every week ..15 weeks old tomorrow...he is just a delight ...:)

I know the feeling! Ours have slowed to little growth now, of course, but in winter we watched them grow out of a coat before they could even tear it up!!

Sykes looks to be a fantastic doggo in the making!

He is so easy Judy ....so loving ....loves people and other dogs ...bit scared of the pigeons and corvids that visit the garden ....
Ive never known a pup to have to be prised out of bed ...;):):)

That is so deerhound! "Let me know when something's going to happen, and I'll get up".

Being part deerhound, Jasper would pester for a walk, but when he saw I was getting ready he'd go back to bed for a snooze while he waited. And then refused to get up until I'd gone through the routine of 'Are you not coming? Shall I leave you here? Shall I see you later? OK, see you later then!' At which point he'd finally get up and slowly saunter over....

The above pic is Sykes new dog bed :Dhe is getting too big to share ours so got him a daybed ...looks huge but he will fill it shortly :p

Litter of pups been born today ...8 so far 6 boys 2 girls and more to come ..so all being well pup ....Teddy willbe ready to be collected 17th july...cant wait ..
