Herts - Whippet Missing

well even if you didnt find her dont get downhearted hun, youll have met more people who will now be aware and will be keeping an eye out for her :luck: :luck: :luck: :)

Thanks Kris, yes I have spoken to so many people about her so it's great to have so many extra pairs of eyes on the look out. I am trying to keep my spirits up. It's hard - some days I'm very down & almost want to give up, but everyone on K9 & Doglost have been so supportive that it makes things so much easier & gives me renewed hope. I've said this loads of times before but I have been so incredibly touched by how lovely everyone has been. I think you are all great! Thankyou :huggles:

I long for the day to tell everyone that I have my Luci back & bore you all to death with photos! :teehee:

One day... :luck: :luck: :luck:

I thought it might be good news. Been thinking about you today.

It make my heart go to see this thread bumped up....

Goodness only knows what it does to Luci's mum :(

Thanks Jill, Moo & Juley :) I'm still trying to stay positive, but it's now been nearly 20 weeks. I miss Luci so much, I think about her all the time :'( . I'm still putting up posters & checking all the free ads, but I've had no news at all still. I've been putting off getting another dog, but will have to start looking soon because my Jack russell misses having another dog around. I still find it hard to believe that Luci could just vanish like that. I hope & pray that I see her again.

A lady who lost her Yorkie in September was at a car boot sale last weekend & saw her dog being walked by someone. The other woman says she found the dog (the same day he went missing, just one street away) & doesn't want to give him up, and the real owner is battling to get him back at the moment. Poor dog is 10 years old & was thrilled to see his owner again after so long. Fingers crossed he'll be reunited with his rightful owner soon :luck: .

It gives me hope that maybe one day I'll see Luci again... :luck: :luck:

My story may be slightly different but my mam read a story out to me the other day from a magazine where a cat had been missing 5 years and has just been reunited with its owners .... just how weird is that and great.  Im sure there is something to cling to.

Yes I heard that story to, owner's must have been so shocked & so happy. Think that cat had a microchip though, which sadly Luci doesn't have :( but still I won't give up hope, Luci is so beautiful & such an unusual colour I'm sure one day I find someone who knows something about Luci. :luck:

That happened to a friend of mine for 2 years, a lady next road down started feeding it, cat went more and more often until it then stayed, the old lady knew who it belonged to but was lonely and wanted the company (that's why there are rescue homes!!)

My friend did get it back so happy ending

Glad your friend got her cat back, she must have been over the moon

Only just read this thread for the first time, what utter torture for you. I am so very sorry, the only thing you can do is stay positive. GOOD LUCK

Hi Luci's mum , we live very close to you and Ive put posters out earlier. I will print some more off and get hubby to pop out with them
