Okay, I am going to have to break this into many posts to get all the photos in... Dido's pups (the dual sired litter) will be 7 weeks on Tuesday and Scarlet's pups will be 5 weeks old on Tuesday. All these pics were taken today. We are STILL waiting on DNA to come back on Dido's kids, it takes forever but hopefully soon we will have the first results.

We will start with Dido's pups - I am only going to post 1 side shot plus the front shot of these kids. They are going through a leaning stage where they like to lean into my hand when I stack them which makes their toplines all weird and their front ends up under themselves way to much. But we got lucky and got a few good shots of them all. If you would like to see their other side shots - you can go to the website to see them, they are on there ;) Oh, they have also really shot up on leg this last week, they aren't those tiny little babies we started out with :(

Also - before we go on, I would just like to comment on what wonderful litters these have been. When I let them out of their ex-pen in the house they run right through the kitchen to the back door and they go up and down the steps all by themselves now. Just waiting on Scarlet's to catch on to that but they are still to young to be climbing up and down the steps so I carry them - but they are starting to walk out of the ex-pen and towards the back door. These are also our first Whippet litters since we moved back in February. Our back steps at the other house made it almost impossible for the puppies to go up and down the steps until they were atleast 8 weeks old and it got really tiring to be carrying a bunch of pups up and down the steps several times a day. The only work that seems to be involved with these guys is changing their pads in the ex-pen once a day and cleaning their litter box once a day which they only use inbetween potty breaks when I can't get them out fast enough (they do ask to go out).

Okay, now for the fun part - the pictures!

"Aaliyah" - she is bunny crazy, she would make an awesome lure courser if that kind of home came along for her, you will see what I mean when I post candid photos in another post.

"Alexa" - we are keeping this girl, mom's pick. We are going to be co-owning her with my sister Kassi and her fiance Martin. We knew Martin was a good apple when Kassi brought him home and the dogs LOVED him. I think they love Martin more than anyone else in the family.

"Aurora" - we have a possible home for her that doesn't live to far away, but we are all waiting to make that commitment until they come and see her in person in November. She is going through a bit of a scrawny stage, hope she covers those ribs in the next week, I hate seeing ribs on babies.

"Cadence" - her legs are stacked to close together in the front shot, but anyways - she is a SPUNKY little girl, loves to play with my necklace and is all about food - GIVE ME FOOD!

Next post coming in a moment....

"Caleb" - the boy brat in this litter, he was being a pill during this photo shoot (you can tell from his topline) but that is to be expected from him. He likes to do things his own way - LOL

"Landis" - formally Aidan, he will be co-owned by our friends Sarah and Tony and living with them and another boy they have from us named Dave. This will be their first show dog and they will be trying out the show ring, lure coursing and maybe some racing too!

"Liam" - my little man, my pick - he is staying right here. We are going to co-own him with my little brother Stuart and Stuart will be showing him in Junior Showmanship. His first juniors dog!

"Milo" - Milo will be traveling to Brazil to her new show home with Elson. She is a spit fire, but all our little ones have always had the biggest personalities!

Scarlet puppies coming next...

My Scarlet babies, their first real stacked shots. I am posting both side shots and a front shot with these guys.

"Alistair" - I call him Ali most of the time, I am pretty sure I will be holding on to this little man. I love him to pieces.

"Cecilia" - this girl is an independent little soul, she likes to run off on her own and do her own thing and always striking poses and looking cute.

"Lizzie" - waiting on that nose to fill in, she looks so funny with her little polk-a-dot nose. She is the mouth in the litter and has been since the second she arrived in this world. She always has to have her say about things.

Still waiting on DNA for the first few we sent in - I check the mail everyday hoping to see something. But anyways - just wanted to talk about my babies. We are so happy with them and what easy litters these guys have been. They sleep through the night, ask to go out in the morning and if they do have to potty throughout the night which is rare, they use their litterboxes. I let them out of their ex-pen in the dining room and they run through the kitchen and into the laundry room and hop right out the back door to go to their business. They are using the porch steps like big kids and they don't slow them down at all. Their personalities, especially on the older Dido pups, are really shining through. Alexa is the independent one, Cadence is the happy-go-lucky girl. Liam and Landis are the sweet little boys that don't get into any trouble. Caleb is the big goofy naughty boy in the litter but the little menance is of course the smallest one, Milo. Aurora and Aaliyah do their own thing, love to have something in the mouth especially if it's fuzzy. They all love to play and tumble around and pull on each others tails and ears and are just plain cute ALL the time. As for Scarlet's pups - Alistair is the one that wants to be around people all the time, he is absolutely a typical boy - sweet and wanting to be held and cuddled. Cecilia is the independent one, always going off to do her own thing or to follow the older pups around while they are tumbling on top of one another. Lizzie is just a mouth, she has something to say about everything and she loves different sounds, she cocks her head when you talk to her and just looks so cute.

We are so happy with them and I am loving all the different personalities right now :)

I can't believe how fast time is flying with these little ones! They are ALL coming on a real treat and looking great Krys

I don't know how you've managed to hold it together waiting on those DNA results,I think I'd be demented by now & have the mailman tortured everytime he appeared!! Surely they can't be too far away now? (fingers crossed!!)

What stunning puppies!  Alexa and Milo are my favourites, what a fantastic brindle colour they are. :huggles:
