I agree Kim. Years ago on this list we pretty much all knew each other. Or someone on here would at least know someone else even we didn't. For example I've met you so we both know that we exist and so do our dogs.I haven't met some of the northern folks but I have met other northern folks who have met 'em. So I know that they are who they say they are.
What gets a bit worrying is when people come on here who no one else on here has ever met and then we find out that what they are saying doesn't add up or make sense.
We do have to be careful because we own much loved pets. We also don't want to think of people taking the mickey out of us.

Can I just say. That truth will out I believe. People on this site love their dogs and love their whippets. If people want to come on here and take the micky out of us or use us or don't love their dogs like we do then we will find them out. We (board members) will out them no matter how long it takes. The truth of the matter will be revealed.

I for one, feel like a bit of an idiot. I believed this and felt very sorry for this person. I even pm'd them with information about the greyhound data website and the fact the dog was registered to the South Wales RGT.
I really hope this dog has a happy life in her new home. Sounds like she'll be better off there.
It's sad to think there are people like this out there. But then when you see how some people treat their dogs you can well beleive that people would try to con us. I think the majority of us on this site are genuine people though who have our dogs best interests at heart.
