Im going on what a lot of people have said over the years iv been in lurchers. why should people judge a or any class then show there dog and then win in the same show. what do you think makes agood judge!!! what back ground do you think they should have in lurchers to call them self a judge.

In 2010 i 1st brought this topic up about judges showing there dogs and judgeing in the same show, And some of the clubs did say they would look in to it. so atfer 2 years have things changed or is it the same!!! i think they little has..

I see where your coming from, but lurchers dont race with the same mix of lurcher!! my old beardy x grey who raced with a whippet x greyhound back to grey and i remember a women saying my dog didnt stand achance she won

:angry: Then dumped in a rescue like most greyhounds untill people like poppys owner rescue them. :thumbsup: And shows lurcher people have got some bloody good lurchers too :thumbsup:

I owned a bearded collie x greyhound never did well in racin she did it for the fun. I own 2 gray x bull types 18months old ones silm and others bigger build he slower when racin, with lurcher u never know what your going to get!!!!!!

The showing at chatsworth was a joke this year judges should not been alound to show any day of that show or people who help to run it too this year. did the judges really get pick coz of there dog!!!!!!!!!! and why dose the nl&rc let them do it. the club need to do more to stop it

The last time i shown was back in the 90s, I just started geting back in to lurchers in the last 18month been to a few shows in the last year to have a look see if i wanted to get back in to showing, not shown my dogs yet, I saw judges showing the next day at same show run over 2days back then...

showing should be bout fun and judges should be fair but is this all ways the case!!!!! what does it say bout the judge there are many shows over the year to show there dogs in, are they that desprate to win!!!!!

why are people who judge at the show, alound to then show there dogs the next day at the same show runing over sat&sun and there dogs being placed. is it fair or fixed!!!!!!!
