The man is dangerous. He has no formal training and there is an 'on going cruelty case going on after he pulled a husky up by his neck ..then of course there was the pig incident..
You are either a troll with who has some serious issues and nothing better to do than try to wind up lovely people who happen to be dog lovers or a tosser who shouldn't be allowed to care for stuffed animals ,let alone a beautiful 1 year old puppy..either way I'm not rising to it anymore.if you...
Especially not when it's left alone for 8-10hours a day.
A lab is a working dog, a social animal that likes to be around its people. a clever creature that likes to be kept busy ..
So , you have a 1 year old lab that is walked just over a mile a day , is infested with worms, eats the cat poo...
Also have a look at Vince the vet website . They have a supplement called supple and sprightly and its a new generation of treatments for joint problems. All the ingredients are ethically sourced and it contains hydroganised collagen . It has made a huge difference to my almost 17year olds mobility
How old is your dog and in what time period has this happened.
Over the counter treatments rarely work .
You say in another post your dog has separation anxiety and you leave him for 8-10 hours a day ? . Maybe he is distressed at being left alone so long. I know we all have to work but I...
Great posts Joanne and Deegee !
Please please don't listen to anyone who tells you to hurt your dog during training. You are not the top dog , you don't have to lead through fear. Your dog will learn through kindness and consistancy . Contact a properly trained person to help get you started...
Hi there , id would take him to the vets to be checked over . I have a very old very sick dog who still loves walk and food , but he is very sick . Whenever an animals personality changes for more than a few days i think they need to be checked by a vet to rule out any underlying illness .
Have you ever had a puppy before ? has anyone bothered to do any research into raising a puppy ? their needs and requirements , the normal developmental stages , training and getting them through fear periods etc ?
A very young dog like this will go through massive changes in the next 12 months...
OMG this is awful !!! firstly your puppy is a baby ..a tiny baby ..a baby doesnt learn over night , it takes MONTHS to train a dog . Your dog is teething and learning how to use his mouth ..but at the moment instead of learning about bite inhibition and how to be gentle with his mouth , he is...
Willow is called Willow because she was born the night we had our beloved Marley moo PTS . We planted a willow tree in his memory and as we are certain she was his last gift to us Willow seemed a fitting name
my hubby named grommit ..because he is a Wallace and grommit fan ..and ..well ..he...
I love it when my youngster sits beside me a rests her head on my shoulder and I love it when my old man brings me his ball..nearly 17 and a ball turns him into a puppy
Internal ones don't exist yet . I was told by a manufacturer of a collar gps system that the problem with an internal gps system was battery life .. I for one would be willing to pay for an internal tracker attached to a microchip. We have looked at ones on collars but for us they wouldn't work...
I genuinely do not think a vet would allow a dog to suffer..if the vet feels your dog is suffering and has no life quality, eating or not I'm sure they would tell you . My old boy has stage 5heart failure and mast cell that cannot be treated due to his age and his heart failure
He is pretty...
On the plus side if they cant speak good enough English to explain to you what happened then they wont be able to report you to the police ..i think u have done everything u could have done . I doubt the dog bit her and I he did it was probably a tiny nip cos he was terrified by the screaming...
I would be cautious to be honest as a good responsible breeder should have a waiting list before mating takes place . Please be very wary about breeders that will just let you turn up to purchase a pup. But also , without meaning to be rude if you have to ask if there are known problems with...
I would ask the breeder if the pup has been seen.by a vet and what course of action that vet recommend, I would even go as far as chatting to the vet that examined the pup myself. If the vet has recommend to the breeder that the hernia be repaired surgically and it is indeed several hundred...
The problem is that you need either treats or a much loved toy to begin with
Maybe take some kibble out of his food allowance and use that ..but unfortunately you are going to need a very night value treat to get rid of a behaviour they have previously found rewarding . So if your dog I...
I disagree , I'm sorry ...he dosent know its wrong , he only understands from your body language that he is going to be in trouble , not that eating poop is wrong !
