'Thanks I'll live but Im angry at myself. this in the third time in one year Ive fallen and I havent even had the good grace to be drunk....
It has ruined my plans for baking though. It looks like it will be shop bought bread and biscuits for a while now.
I am so angry with myself this morning, I didnt notice that my boot lace had come loose and I took a tumble on a gravel path..
As I had stood on the lose lace I couldnt even steady myself. Luckily OH was there to help me up and take the dogs. He continued to the playground while I did a few...
One of the most difficult things I can imagine was a wake my son in law attended. The person the wake was for wasnt actually dead yet.
Knowing his bone cancer had returned and knowing there was nothing that could be done the lad (27) had chosen euthanasia but decided his wake would be a party...
I try to avoid artificial sweeteners too. Some will interfere with the uptake of my medicine.
Sugar tax? I do think some companies should be made to justify the amount and the hidden sugars they pack into products ..
It was raining but oddly warm this morning and we've already cleared away the swimming pool so we thought it would be nice to give Murphy a (possibly) last chance to swim this year.. Of course he didnt need telling twice although George just stood on the sand and tried to avoid all the wetness...
At least you cared enough to try.
Last year while out walking OH and I saw a swan with what looked like a yellow plastic bag round its neck. OH called the animal rescue while I tried to get a good look through the camera.. the plastic had numbers on it and as I gave the news to OH he was being...
Have to admit Im looking forward to the beaches opening up again ..
We dont have halloween here but we do have St Martin when the children go door to door with lanterns singing for sweets , thats fun..and if I happen to buy more chocolate than is needed ??? well someone has to eat it!

Its easier to photograph the sunrise.
The long wellies are out and the summer ones are put away.

Hot chocolate drinks
All the Germans have gone home..
whats your autumn list?
My son bought home an english bulldog she got the nickname 'scaley' kaylee, constant muck in her face wrinkles that needed cleaning out 3 or 4 times a day and the smell of a stewed jockstrap.
I'll admit its partly my OCD and partly because Murphy likes to snuggle on the foot of the bed sometimes but we always take our own bedding (sheets and quilt covers) and a couple of old throws for sofas and such.
Oh for crying out loud..How silly...
If anyone asks maybe you could say she grew since you booked :D thats as daft as the rule!
Its normal no dogs on furniture or no dogs in bedrooms but small dogs only is such a loose term.. I think anything smaller than a BC is small to toy..
Exactly and yet.. Everyone from family (not me I always accepted she wasnt maternal) and friends to neighbours to work and even health professionals think it is and most trot out that same line when she says she doesnt want kids. "I bet you'll change your mind in a couple of years" ..
No she...
@Jack-Russell-Lover agree with you about charity beginning at home. I keep a very sharp eye on where my charity donations go. I get the yearly finacials from each of the ones we give to regularly so I now exactly where they spend the money. Big charities give the bosses idiotic pay while as...
@Jack-Russell-Lover totally agree with the child limit thing also and very unpopular I think anyone on benefits should be told that any child conveived after they claim will not receive benefits. I know someone who has 6 children ranging from early 20s to pre school, she has never worked a day...
So sorry to hear that you are facing this decision.
My sons cat Miles was much the same as Monty although she was only 19 but developed diabetes as well.
At first the insulin injections helped give her some quality of life but that became less and less until he decided that she was less of...
