    Saying Goodbye

Thank you everyone for your kind words, they mean a lot. I keep second guessing whether there was more we could have done and I’d do anything to go back and cherish the moments we had together. I hope that in time all the things that remind me of him that are making me cry will be the things...

    Saying Goodbye

I can’t quite believe I’m here writing this and it’s the most difficult time I’ve ever experienced. As many of you know Dennis was very poorly last year and after lots of tests and vet trips we finally discovered he had severe IBD. After his diagnosis we thought we were in the clear, he was...

    Back legs giving up

Thank you all - it means a lot to know fellow dog lovers and owners are behind us. He was much better yesterday so we’re keeping him rested and I got him some duck to cook up which he liked.

    Back legs giving up

He’s ok this morning, has managed to get up and go outside for a wee and some breakfast. Lastnight we couldn’t even get him up to do a wee, Oli carried him to the garden and he just collapsed :-( We’re going to put a date on it. We’ve also ordered him some CBD to try. thank you for asking x

    Back legs giving up

I don’t think he has been happy recently no. I’m not sure if it’s the weather or because his legs are sore. I think maybe I’ve pushed him thinking he’s been ready to do more and hasn’t been. He won’t eat the Lilly’s kitchen so I’ll have to go back to cooking human food again

    Back legs giving up

Thank you - I always knew this would be the hardest decision we would ever have to make when getting a dog. It’s just so rubbish that it’s up to us to say when it’s time. I’m sorry to hear about your Travis. Dogs are such a big part of the family.

    Back legs giving up

Bad morning for us... Den didn’t make it to the garden and did a poo in the kitchen but managed to walk through it all and get it all over himself. I feel so sad how quickly his back legs have let him down. It doesn’t help that he has no appetite and it’s hot. I keep going through so many...

    Genealogy

I’m adopted so I don’t know my family history. All I know is that my birth mum was blonde, blue eyed and fair skinned and I am dark haired, dark eyed and olive skinned. Unknown history of birth father. I found out during pregnancy that I am a carrier for thalassemia which is a blood disorder...

    Ronnie is always hungry

How about using a kong? Could even freeze it so it takes longer for him to get it out? Might make him feel he’s eating more of it takes longer

    Back legs giving up

Thanks everyone - they’re much better today after some rest but still very wobbly. He is not impressed with the barrier stopping him going upstairs :emoji_face_palm:
