Sunburn isn't really a risk for Harri but his thick coat does mean he gets very hot. He is entirely self regulating though. When he gets uncomfortable he will voluntarily seek shade.

C Could be - I give Harri a few spoons of butternut squash ( easier to get than tinned pumpkin for me) on the rare occasion he gets a runny tummy. It seems to sort him out really quickly. Glad everything seems better :)

Vegetarian here but Harri gets fresh meat. I salve my conscience by buying the most ethically raised meat I can.

Harri wears a Seresto collar too now. We can undo it - his collar size varies quite a bit depending on when he last went to the groomer....

I'm really lucky as I have miles of footpaths locally I can take so we can ring the changes constantly (even if we just do a walk backwards). Harri loves his familiar walks but it's me that gets bored so we do travel. I can do a walk about once a week... He's a stopper and sniffer so our usual...

I used Sudocrem on Harri when he had a sore rash on his tummy( vet agreed). Worked a treat and much cheaper than the prescription soothing creams. It cleared up as soon as he left it alone and hasn't recurred so the cause remains a bit of a mystery.
