Lol you should see fat Tess go you would think she would be slow she is as fast as Milly cant believe it. We have put things on hold for a week or so as Janet at the riding school her sister died yesterday morning so we dont want to intrude but working on getting the club up and running.
I did take a vet to court over a horse bill about 25 years ago, charged me 5.00 for a roll of cotton wool and thats what i remember the bill back then came to over a 1000. I got an itemised bill it was an absolute muddle. When i got to court he settled before we went in so its worth following up.
There was a documentary on tv recently about vets and a particular sort of cooperative practice that operated all over the country not only did they charge a huge amount they handled the animals in a very bad way. Sorry cant remember the practice name but im sure someone else may have seen it...
Thanks for this it makes really interesting reading cant believe so many dogs sleep on peoples beds or in the bedrooms lol I only tried that once and patterjacks refuse to give up there space so no room for me they were out. Incredible that hardly any sleep outdoors in a kennel lol we are still...
they do have a web site but silly of them no contact details. Sorry im of no help but a bit of useless information in case you didnt know they had a web site.
Long time ago now about 30 years. still wonder what happened to her. I watch my terriers like a hawk, my heart is in my mouth if they cock a deafun and run.

you are quite right on that one and i dont breed more than 2 litters a year hence a waiting list for my patterjacks. Also I am a member of pet plan and we sign up to a code of conduct. I will only breed from my bitch 3 times and then she has finished. That would be spread over 6 years.
where did i state i wasnt aware of the legal aspects. You dont know anything about me or what I do. all i asked was if anyone new where there was a vet that would dock tails. I know the law regarding docking. I stated that was what I did with my patterjacks just vermin control for my stables. I...
The dog that i will be breeding from is 2 years old and arrives at the end of August. I use my dogs for rabbits and ratting as a pest control around my fields and stables. I feel like i came on here for a little advise and am getting a deep interigation as to my intentions and my knowledge. I...
worth getting her checked by the vet as my maiden bitch did similar and i sat up all night with her thinking she would produce and nothing, took her to the vet and he gave her oxytocin because she hadnt got the urge to push, once she understood what she was doing all was well. Good luck.
thanks for all your replys, I wont have any pups that will need docking until next year so im just looking at my options and for a vet that would do it. I do like to leave tails on but when they are bred to do a job needs must. My horse vet that is a hunting fellow doesnt do it and hasnt done it...
