Just to update everyone. I cannot got my greyhound back. The only way in a court of law that you can prove ownership is DNA testing. Microchips, tattoos, papers and photos is not legal proof.
There is an organisation called Petback protect that offers protection and DNA testing.
Who do you think you are accusing me of mistreating Joe? How dare you. You dont even know me. I was very grateful for your help via your pm. This did put me in touch with South Wales RGT. I have been in contact with them as you can see from the email i posted.
As i have already said this...
Im not happy that you are saying that fly did not exsist.
My tenancy in my rented accommodation in South Wales came to an end by mutual agreement with my landlord as the place held too many memories of my dogs. Therefore i had to move to Scotland to live with my partners family until we could...
Greyhound tracks in wales are independant and not governed as the big tracks in England.
The way it works is you can call your dog anything on trial days and it will run under that name on race nights. If you dont believe this is her name you can see her winning and other times at Bedwellty or...
I was going to update everyone when i had my final meeting with my solicitor. I have proof that i called the pound via telephone statements. I had no choice but to move so soon after it happened otherwise i would be homeless in south wales.
As for joe her official name was rathroon sash but...
The thing is when she was taken i checked with the police and council pound we had no help what so ever. Now south wales RGT sent this email saying she was in the pound. I am confused as they said she was not there.

Had her for a few years. She was not micro chipped as the vet did not recommend it as she was tattooed. Would love to have her back but the law says otherwise.
Was told by a council pound that once a dog has been with them for 7 days legally it becomes their property and can be passed onto...
It would be the best solution but unfortunatly that is the law. Anyway she has been rehomed since christmas so i dont want to upset her further. It stinks but i just got to accept it.

Fly 08/2002 - 12/2005
She was 22 inches, brindle rough coated bitch. Colliexgreyhound x colliexwhippetxgreyhound.
She was a star in the field. She shone at shows. She was a character at home.
She is sadly missed.
She was my best friend
She made me smile when I awoke
She kept me warm when i was asleep
She was with me in the morning in the cold winter breeze
Or on a summer evening in the hot sultry air
She caught me rabbits and coursed me hares
She caught foxes with bravery to spare
She ran through...
