I used to feed my pups (up to 8ish months) 3-4 meals a day the 4th being complete puppy food which I left down so they could eat it in between meals or at night if they got hungry.
If your pup looks ok on what you are feeding I expect it's fine but the puppy foods may contain extra ingredients...
I think we must all be mental then! :)
Between my boss & my teenage sons it wouldn't surprise me if I went completely bonkers. The doglets are the only thing keeping me relatively ok atm.
Hi Keith, I'm planning on becoming even more eccentric when I finally persuade my teenage sons to leave home! :) I don't think it's mad to congratulate doglets on peeing & pooing but my neighbours probably do!
I care less & less what other people think as I get older and as long as no-one...
Your pup sounds yummy and will look forward to pics. :)
As Hellybobs says it takes time to housetrain the little blighters and I think some dry food makes them wee more than others (sure I read that somewhere) so maybe experiment a bit - Burns is supposed to be good and mine quite like it...
My Zephyr was much the same (still is on occasion and he's 11 months now) but as the others suggest call him back regularly on walks & give really nice treats + a ball or squeaky toy should encourage him to come back even when other dogs are around.
Freddie sounds very similar to Zephyr - full...
I would make my kids walk (teenagers  ) but remember what it's like carrying around all that baby clobber - all the same whippets/greyhounds curl up pretty small :)
Here is another nearly a whippet (not much larger it says)

The whippet on that link was re-homed via ad in paper.
However I'm pretty sure there are some whippety types looking for homes on here www.lurcher.org in 'Homes Wanted'.
Very best wishes & hope you find a new friend soon.
I'm wondering whether it might be worth consulting another vet? You could ask the rescue if she could see theirs as it's pos she has more allergies or some other problem and not epilepsy at all. You haven't mentioned her having fits.
Perhaps a change of diet might help? Have a look on...
He sounds VERY scrummy! :D
You'd better find somewhere to hide your shoes, slippers, loo rolls, books etc before he arrives :) life will never be the same again! And you'll never regret it even when he's eaten your treasures.
Looking forward to pics...
I don't think you need to worry about the magpie JT as I very much doubt it had bird flu. Think it's more the big migrating birds coming in - geese etc that may have it and pos give it to swans and other water birds they are mixing with.
However if bird flu doesn't get nipped in the bud here I...
Zephyr my collie x lurcher is also 10 months now and his recall has taken a downturn in the last few weeks. I think it's spring fever AND he's taken to humping male whippets! :b Watch out any whippy owners in Wiltshire! :) (he'll be getting the snip fairly soon)
I think it's just an awkward...
Litter born 3/4th April here......

Otherwise have a look in Countrymans Weekly, might be some.
Best of luck!
