With the sloe gin I use a litre of gin, 500gm of sloes and 250gm of golden castor sugar, chuck it all in a large kilner jar and leave for at least a couple of months,(more if you can resist temptation!) I stir it lovinglyevery day for the first couple of weeks, then stir it every few days after..oh and leave in a dark, cool place... I was thinking of trying same recipe with blackberries this year..last year I made a few different flavours, one that worked well too was raspberry and crab apple, yum!!Black berry Gin ? tell me more please
