Just wonderd what you all do with your whippets..... :D

I intend to work mine mainly, but am going to get into racing them for a bit of fun in the summer months.

Thanks.

gypsy is a pet............and a very lovely one at that :huggles:

Sidney and Benjamin are pets

To race Ben would mean having to have a piggy ear at the finish and a sofa for Sidney

My little girl is a pet...but I also intend to show her a bit....no option for that :- "

You'd have to stick that under OTHER Clair

Bluebell is such a gorgeous girlie

One of my whippets does agility, racing, had a go at lure coursing and does a bit of fun showing, drives me up the wall, but is first and foremost my pet princess

First and foremost, my whippies are my best friends :huggles:

But because we have, and are surrounded by, farmland which is overrun with rabbits they get to do what whippets enjoy most - catch bunnies!!! :D

My husband's whippet pup is show bred so we may well try our hand at showing him but my girlies are all workers and will also be trying their paws at lure coursing too

My gorgeous Bluebell is a pet, my darling and my baby with my four other dogs ...All pets .

ALL of my lot are pets first .....Then Frisbee fanatics, and then racers.....they also ALL enjoy obedience and 2 do some dancing to music :- " ......Some also lure course, some do live and some have fun at local shows .....Nothing better than having fun with what suits your dogs :D

I keep mine for breeding purposes only they live out in kennels with a small run. they have two litters a year each, cross them with either a lurcher or a bull so the kc do not have to be notified. When they reach the age of 6 I take them down the pound so that they can have a new home. :- "

Only joking they sleep on the bed in the house with me and go everywhere. They do do a bit of running after the odd verm mind.
