I live out in the sticks in North Yorkshire, hares in all the fields and deer within quarter mile. I catch hare with solo whippet bitch, the first time she ever caught a hare she took about a minute to kill it and I was concerned to say the least, but very quickly learned to kill quickly. It goes without saying she also does for rabbits and squirrels and small critters. Ive trained her not to bother pheasants as we dont like the taste. She is a black.
