Can i ask you ladies who have ridden in the park, can you have a gallop or have they got some sort of riding code,? (every one i seen riding were just walking) it seems a waste of ground for the horses if you can't let them have their head now and again, OMO.

I bet the queen when she was younger had a good gallop up that straight. :lol:

when i went it was a sponsored ride at Windsor, we got to ride past all the "real" x-country fences...that are massive by the way!

yes we had a good gallop, it was brilliant...i think the ride is usually in may, but as i don't ride now (and aint for 3 yrs) I'm a bit out of touch :wacko:

but as far as i know this event is on every year...not sure about rules of general hacking on the estate :blink:
