Great idea. I'm also new to showing and have the same problems.

My girls are

Alzao Niamh (Fleur) who will be starting her show career at the grand age of 7 in veteran classes.

Amber Cream (Ete) who doesn't show as she is to ugly but absolutely wonderful.

Dejare Ma Petite Amie (Amie) who at 6 months is just starting her career

and of course mustn't forget my lovely boy

Dejare Cobweb (Coby) who got me into showing to start with.

I have

'The Boys'....who I don't show...well I did Jay-z once and it was a disaster !

Laguna Lolittas Lad - 'JAY-Z' Fawn, blue mask, white toes. Also known as 'Mr Perfect' 14 mths

Fast 'n' furios - 'Snoop' Blue Brindle & white (who is just nuts, hence also known as Loopy) 12 mths

And my girl

Savuka Scarlet Woman - 'Missy' Red Fawn & white, also known as Princess who I start showing next month - she is 6mths at the end of this month.

As I have am just starting to show any help, tips etc would be greatly appreciated.

:D I've really enjoyed reading who's showing what at the moment. So to add to the list, here are my lot.

No.1 Nevedith Beefa Beejabers at Lokeren (BJ) what a mouthful that is to say, he's 5 years old, silver brindle/white

No. 2 Lokeren Chakole Inspiration - Lol- 19 months and spit of his Dad BJ, mum is Lokeren Adrianne

Lokeren Adrianne (Asharna) Nevedith Zedfa Zeffa x Natural Beauty brindle/white

Lokeren Be Simone (Simone) Ch. Nevedith Ayfa Aze x Asharna - fawn/white

Lokeren Dream Angel (she isn't) by BJ x Simone - silver brindle/white

Lokeren Dream Lover (Flash) sister to Angel - dark brindle/white

Lokeren Dream Star (Ben) - fawn/white and looking for a new home

Angel and Flash are just getting going in the ring, so BJ can have a rest for a while till he gets fed up of being left at home.

Then there's Jack - Wilmaleen Desert Prince - Red/white Iggie - 8 yearss

Charlie - Taraday Charles at Lokeren - Sable/white 3 years another Iggie

Then there's Toby - our rescue dog, 14 plus and is black and white and has 3 teeth
 
I'm Val - I don't post very often but I do enjoy reading the board. I mainly go to shows in Kent /East Sussex, and only a few further afield.

Only got two dogs, Spider my elderly lurcher, and ;

Lily - Welstar Lady Macbeth at Cryhavoc

I've only just had my affix provisionally granted, so her name isn't "official " yet.

Hello Lisa, I live near Ashford in Kent. I think there are quite a few whippet people your way, although I don't know which ones might use this site.

Lily is my first whippet, so I'm a newcomer to it all.

I have 3 Whirlwinds at the Moment.

1.Fred Colooney Silver Quick Silver at Mikadene.

2. Barney Colooney Sterling Silver at Mikadene

3. Lucy Locket Kayanessey Diamond Chip .

Her picture is at the end of this message. I have had Whippets for many years though I race them nearly all the time (never did catch the Blighters ). and my second Breed for over 40 yrs is Alsatians. The old fashioned type. I can't run anymore so my Whippets came to the rescue and allow me to show again, instead of relying on good friends and family to show my dogs. It's just not the same buzz as being in the ring yourself.

Thanks Jools - it's so difficult to find something that hasn't already gone. When my original ideas were rejected, I spent most of the day on the phone to the Kennel club , going down my list to see what I could get.

I've been waiting for a pic of Teya to show up in Our Dogs - could it have been Teya? Do you remember what paper and week? The only reason is they're supposed to send me an extra copy when it's in and I've not received 2 copies so I've not had a hard look yet.
