Hi everyone

I just managed to buy a copy of this book by Pauline Wilson (1979) and what a brilliant read it is, I recomend it to anyone interested in the history of racing, specially newcomers like us. It really has been a treat reading about some of the greats of yesteryear and looking at the pics of some of the old champs.

If you get the chance to get a copy grab it quick :D

It would be great if some of our more mature members could be persuaded to tell us some tales of yesteryear :) Please...............

All the best

Marie and Graham

I just bought a copy from Amazon.com which I will get in a few days time. Looking forward to reading it very much!!

There are a few used copies for sale at Amazon if anyone else is interested

Yes course you can Geoff :D

Its so interesting, I traced Finlays pedigree back to Good as Gold on both sides many times over who I found out won at Highgate in May 1971 beating another famous name Little Lucy. he won the BWRA Supreme dog champion four years in succession and I cant believe how much resemblance there is between Finlay and his great great great great granddad in looks even though he was much littler (w00t) . Lets hope he takes after hime in other ways.
