Whippets lines. do any-lines still turn on a sixpence

He's 20 1/2" at the shoulder and is 27lb. Just turned 19 months old and has had a couple of deer already. Caught them but just let them go. Loves to chase like all whippets. Been racing him since he was 10 months and he loves it but no ped racing up in Newcastle where we are so he's been racing non peds. He's done some cracking times (9.3s 150yds) which would have made him national champion at 28lb so next year we're going to head south to a few opens so he can race against fellow peds. He's not race bred but I think his coursing lines have a lot of speed in them. Haven't really thought about breeding off him as he's just a pet but he's got good lines so maybe in the future it might happen. Here he is just larking about and with his border mate!

He Sounds very good, what is his kc name so I can take a look at his ped. we dont run ours to hard till 2 years old down here, we are all into very long runs : Lure Coursing, have you tried him at coursing? he should be good if he can turn hard, can he stay a long course. We are up against the purest Laguna blood lines in Britain, and they are still beating most other lines. and they dont like to cross to other lines.

This is our club www.sportingwhippetclub.co.uk

Frankels Enchantment. I would love to give him a go at lure coursing, but there's nothing up here in the north east, as he can run all day. I met a lovely lady called Judith who was up here working and she has 2 peds Tommy and Harry who Frankie has raced against and beaten, and she said she lure coursed them both at the sporting whippet club so you might know her?

Don't really know how it all works to be honest and don't really want to use him as a stud dog yet while he's racing. Will probably only use him when I decide I want another pup which isn't the foreseeable future. I will definitely read up about it though as it might come in handy in the future.
