Whippet puppy

Hi I'm anew mummy and collect my beautiful girl whippet puppy in 5 weeks time. The breeder is going to ween her on clinivet puppy dry food, I've never heard of this, does anyone know of it or could recommend a top quality puppy dry food for a whippet. Many thanks

I had a quick look for this food and it gets 4.3 out of 5 on the all about dog food website. It looks good enough to me, it certainly looks better than many completes available.

It is really important that when you get your puppy if you then decide to change it's food that you do so very slowly to avoid diarrhoea and other digestive upsets. I would initially follow the feeding plan that the breeder should give you, allowing the puppy to settle into it's new home before you make any changes.

Have you researched your Puppy Socialisation Classes yet? Sometimes you need to book early. Look at the APDT website to find some in your area.
