Whippet Lost

what a relief!! Let's hope she soon settles in and realises how much she is loved.
 
So sorry we haven't updated more, have only been able to get on the internet in snatches and I'm in Sheffield trying to update everything re Whisp whilst everyone else was looking for her at home!

Whisp has indeed been found; she was sighted in Rudheath on Thursday and was eventually caught by family and the dog warden (there had been a locum on duty who wasn't doing a very good job and unfortunately got lost on the way to more than one sighting; but things moved along a lot better when the local one was back off holiday).

Whisp was checked out by a vet today and is in excellent health apart from sore paws which need vaseline applying regularly. She has been updated with vaccinations and is settling in, being a little bit spoilt possibly and apparently spending the evening watching telly on Grandad's knee!

We are delighted she is back and would like to thank everyone who looked, saw the posters, read this thread or helped in any other way.

We had many phonecalls of sightings and even though it was almost 2 weeks until she was back home each sighting gave us a chance and also let us know that she was alive and as well as could be expected day to day.

We are so happy she is home, super security measures are in place to make sure she doesn't escape again although we are hoping that it was partly a reaction to such a big change and she will settle down.
