whats is the best weight group ?

hi , im about to put my dog into her first open ,and as she is around the 27lb weight i was wondering if anyone could tell me what they think about the best weight group to put her in ?

would it be best for her to be at the top end of the 24-27 lbs or at the bottom of the 28-32 lbs ...let me know what you think :unsure:

Personally I'd give away the lb allowance and run her off the front of the heavier group. But then that would also (hopefully) suit my dog re trap position.

On the other hand if you think that you can get her weighed in at 26lbs I'd probably run her in the lighter weight group.

I'd deffo go for the heavier weight group. Especially as it's her first open, you can always see how she goes and put her in the lighter group at the next one :unsure: ?

I would put her in the next group up there dont seem to be many dogs entering as in the lower groups
