What Has Happened To K9 ?

I go on facebook although not very often but I find it hard as I don't necessarily know who people are. I have people who are friends that I know who they are but some I know they are people who are on k9 but cannot always place who they are on here. I that makes sense I also find it hard to keepup with peoples news as I may only come on at night unless on face book you go onto someones profile then if what they posted has gone past the bottom of the page then I don't always catch up. One example is Ann's grandaughter not being well it was several days after that I caught up with it.

I also find face book confusing Farmville and the other ones what are they about? I just can't get the hang of it. I remember my last litter of pups being born in the chat room here. Wellnot literally but we were all in their chatting away when Tegan went into labour. Everyone stayed as I updated on the news I doubt as that would happen now everyone was happy and pleased for us for the new arrivals now I would most likely gat slated for breeding a litter.

I don't know if there still is Ann but the pups are now 2 1/2 so going back a while there was. You clicked on a link at the botttom of the page, we spent many a happy hour in the chat room at one time.

Just checked it is still there if you scroll down to the board stastistics at the bottom of the page and click were is says live chat it takes you into the chat room.

It would be great if we all made a New Year's Resolution to get K9 back on track to the friendly place it used to be. :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

Perhaps when people make inflammatory/nasty/bitchy comments, they should be completely ignored (the behavioural approach) and perhaps they would stop posting altogether. :sweating: It is the minority who spoil it for the majority.

The chat room on here was a good one and it would be nice to pop in again every so often to have a catch up with me ole muckers

It had got to the point on here where I was getting scared to post anything on here. Certain people were really nasty. I just dip in and have a look but go on FB as I know certain people can't have a go at me on there.

It used to be a great forum for chatting about shows, whippets in general, stories, photos, just very friendly.

2011 should be the re-start of the OLD K9 that I joined in 2008!

Yes, I am a member of the 'other side' and Facebook too, but I still seem to keep coming back to K9. :-

There are so many double standards, hypocrisy etc... it's sad but I have reverted to the tried and tested formula of knowing who my friends are, and I speak to them rather than relying on online forums where people can appear to be whoever they choose to be.... I still love k9,and go on every day.Its a shame,as a lot of the originals(you know who you are)have gone.I had loads of advice,support when my Grey died,and felt i was amongst like minded people.I still feel,in the main,its the same,but i also note,that most of the posts that are abusive are made from

new members,just made to cause a stir.

I love a debate,and forums should allow a certain amount of freedom of speech,but to a point

Most of my doggy friends are now on Facebook,but i still like to go on K9,to see piccies from Ireland,etc,that i otherwise would not get to see.

I will continue to go on k9,i still think its got a lot going for it.
