Hi there Dog Forum users - hope you're all doing well. I'm from Good Morning Britain - ITV's breakfast show - and I have a question for you.

Do you leave your dog at when you go to work? Do you ever wonder what they get up to when they have the place to themselves? Do you worry whether your pooch is OK, when they're home alone? And would you like expert tips on keeping your mutt happy, and how to spot how to spot the telltale signs of behavioural problems?

At Good Morning Britain, we're looking for loving owners to take part in a fascinating experiment about stay-at-home dogs. To find out more, and possibly take part, please e-mail gmb@itv.com and put DOGS in the subject line. You may be asked to appear on the show.

Many thanks for your time and help.

When younger the dogs got well ran so I know what they got up too!! Sleep,, now that older and just getting over a stroke I know what he does!!! Sleep.

Yes, the dent in the bed tells me he has been asleep :)

Mine lolls around in our hallway or decides to lie in his bed, doesn't get up to much else. We know was we have a webcam we put on when we're out ;)

I'm assuming that most dogs that can't behave when their on there own are either in crates or in a room that's dog proofed? but it's an interesting concept.

Our eldest springer sleeps but the younger one is up and down like a yo yo with every noise she hears
