It seems to be quite isolated to the one area which suggests contact with something irritant, but maybe a vet check if it isn't calmer soon.

oh thank god. its our first time having a dog so its quite scary. But he always digging with his nose and trying to eat other dogs business when we go on walks.

That was my thought too - a reaction to something he's stuck his nose into. But a reaction could affect his airways, and there's always a chance that it's something nasty. How long did it take to develop?

It does look quite sore so while i wouldn't panic, I also wouldn't leave it time to clear by itself.

it literally came up out of nowhere friday . but it does seem to be drying out and it hasnt spread. hes still his usual playself eating & pooping fine lol . it looks like this now

How's his nose looking today?

Oh gosh, it does look quite sore :-( I would definitely recommend a vet trip!
This. I'm a new dog owner too, and as such I'd have been to the vet's with this. I'm sure it's nothing to worry about, but at least a quick visit to the vet can put your mind at ease (and a quick consultation shouldn't break the bank!).

sorry about the late reply but yes his nose has cleared up and gone.. but left pale patches??? im assuming that means its gone ??? xx

It could mean this, have you been to the vet with this because it could be anything, from my experience please go to the vet to put your mind at ease, and have it checked out to make sure it isn't infected.

nooo didnt go vets.. instead i put savlon on it and it cleared up .. hes still his hyper self and it hasnt spread!.. so i no im not a vet but as its cleared up and hes fine and his usual self iv kinda avoided the vet ... we do have a problem with cats in our garden and wolfie has been digging with his nose under the fench where the cats poop so im assuming it was an infection of wood cat poop and him being a pup lol ... correct me if im wrong though xxxx

The rash could be a wide variety of things. I am going to run through a few that it may be.

It could be canine acne - https://www.petmd.com/dog/conditions/skin/c_dg_acne#

It could also be pyoderma - http://veterinarycalendar.dvm360.com/diagnosing-and-treating-canine-bacterial-pyodermas-proceedings

It could be allergies - https://dogs.thefuntimesguide.com/dog_allergies/

It could be Contact Dermatitis - https://www.petcarerx.com/article/contact-dermatitis-in-dogs-and-cats/2838

It could be Mange - https://www.petmd.com/dog/conditions/skin/c_dg_sarcoptic_mange

It could be heat rash - https://wagwalking.com/wellness/can-dogs-get-heat-rash

It could be Folliculitis - https://www.embracepetinsurance.com/health/folliculitis

This is just a few things that your dog’s skin rash may be. Hope the articles help. If you think it’s starting to come back or is getting worse, I would advise you to take him to the vet for a check-up.
