Talking about our naughty dogs and their food antics got me thinking....

what is the most embarrassing thing your dog has done?

Post your stories below....

I think one of the most embarrassing (but also very funny) things Dennis has done is...

We were visiting friends in Royal Tunbridge Wells and we went to a gorgeous park (can’t remember it’s name) it was a lovely sunny day.

We were walking along a path at the top of a hill and looking down below there was a young girl dressed in her ballet outfit having some photos taken by her mum in front of a grand water feature.

Dennis spotted the water feature from afar and took off....

Next thing you know he’s jumped in the water feature!! It was a lot deeper than we were both anticipating and I had to drag him out.

I would have loved to have seen some photos of the girl in her ballet outfit with a black Labrador jumping into the water in the background! :D

There's been a few... Probably the most embarrassing was when I had to swim across a large pond to rescue Jasper when he and I discovered he couldn't swim. I stripped to my undies and ended up getting out the other side of the pond, which meant I had to walk back to reclaim my clothes... while a teenage lad sat there fishing and doing nothing whatsoever to help.

I then had to walk home in a thin white fitted t shirt over my wet bra, as the day cooled.....

My very first cocker probably 53 years ago .
We were shopping in Guildford, walking up the high street, and wanted to cross the road (the cobbled high street), as we crossed "Lulu" decided she needed a wee, she stopped in the center of the road, stopping all of the traffic and had the most enormous wee, she finished and we continued crossing.
I don't think that would happen these days without a load of people hooting their horns and shouting abuse.

One of mine Was when we were out and about with the 5 dogs (border terriers). Having called at this village for a brew we had a wonder around. We came across these lovely gardens that were like a roundabout in the middle of the village. BUT it had these giant carved wooden rabbits on it,well the bloody dogs must of thought all of their dreams had come true. Kick off, you've never heard anything like it,total carnage. The place was rammed with tourists all killing themselves laughing and there's me going ... there made of wood ya blood idiots, there wood.
Talk about being embarrassed.

That just reminded me of this Italian dog I walk, someone had a small flat metal carving of a cat sat on their doorstep, no colour to it or anything, and he totally lunged for it as we walked past and knocked it over with a clang, but I still had to drag him away!! Everytime since, when we walk past , even though it remains lying flat, he has to lunge and bark at it! o_O...haven't quite had the heart after all this time to pick it up and show him it's not real, poor boy:rolleyes: an embarrassed dog story;)

I have a few but the most iv ever felt embarrassed and shamed was when i was at a BBQ my employer was hosting and he said to bring our dogs as he loves dogs. So i did cody enjoyed himself getting attention and playing with the other dogs and then when my employer was making a speach in front of me and my co-workers Cody decided it was a good idea to cock his leg and pee on my emoyers leg. Everyone was laughing i was mortified , i thought i was going to get fired. Luckily my boss laughed it off but i am never allowed to forget it by my co-workers.
