Well done to Chris and the rest of the Cornish team for a well run open. The weather could have been kinder but we had a great weekend. The racing was excellent. Well done to all the finalists especially Rebecca and Femme Fetale, who was just flying all day.

On a personal note Indi and I were thrilled that our little Boss, (Xile) finally won his way out of maidens at the tender age of 6!

Thanks to Dave and Lynne, Steve and June and Andrew and Alison for their company, and to all the "crew" in the Lamb and Lion on Saturday night. It was a hoot!

Well done Cornwall for another great open. We enjoyed the great company, and thrilled to see Mandy & Dereks young Blue Sea of Ibrox winning the maiden group. Also Becky with Femme Fatale superb supreme win, Dave and Lynne with 2 Conway girls in the maiden final, with Belle coming a close 2nd, and Maggie and family with Ahoy Ramona winning her group and the supreme. Lesley, your face was a picture when Indi told you that Boss had won the veteran final, well done and we hope you have a lot of fun racing him in veterans. Congratulations Mark and Lesley with Summa Breeze winning final and Supreme which must put her ahead now in the Top Ten with little chance of being caught ;-) Have You Honey was impressive all day too. Well done all the finalists, and hope they all had a special tea - I know ours did, especially as it was our Sweep's (Mighty Mouse) last open before retirement. Like the rest of our dogs who live with us for life (actually we live with them!) he and sister Moondust will live lives of luxury with us at their beck and call, with every creature comfort they deserve :cheers:
