Well P'd Off.........

I've used Tiscali in the past but have been on BT Broadband

for the last 2 years. No problems, and because they also

supply the line there isn't an issue between 2 companies when

something goes wrong, which can happen so often (sour grapes!)

Like Janis and June, we are 10 miles from the nearest main exchange

and 2 miles from the sub-exchange so our broadband is only half the

speed it could be if we lived in town but it works adequately and, touch

wood, we have never had a problem with it

BT is competitive these days so cost isn't an issue and it just seems

more secure than going with the other ISPs.

Good luck, whoever you decide to go with :luck: :D

Ha Ha ........... just read that you've gone with Sky!!!

Sounds like a great package ...... we were meant to get

£50 M&S vouchers from them when we reconnected our

Sky Service but they never sent them

Well i hope i've done the right thing but i have just got off the phone after signing up with sky

I stopped my sky about 2 years ago as i don't watch a lot

of tv and made do with the freeview box, to be honest the

signal isn't always great.

So now for £26 a month i have sky wireless broadband,

a free Sky+ box, Sky Tv, 5 movies channels and i could

have free calls but i wont bother with that as i have them

with BT.

And all with free installation this Saturday, oh and £50

of M&S vouchers

Anne that sounds too good to be true... (w00t) a good deal Id say...

I might be following suit soon.... :)

Ann, hang of on sky till after xmas, as OH seems to think their prices will go down.

Virgin is getting all the sky channels back in january, so they will almost definatly be offering good package deals and well good deals, which in turn should push sky to drop their prices. If that makes sence

To late Katie, its all sorted for Saturday :))

Anne you won,t regret it i,ve had sky for over a year now and had noproblems :huggles:

AO Hell again. I'm with them Ann as you have probably noticed. I have moved several times and to be honest have found nobody who provides such a good service as cheaply. So we always end up back there despite the cr****p service.

You should be able to pick up any of the websites you access irrespective of who provides your internet access. I have never had any problems.

Do dread to think how long you were on the phone to the call centre in India. OH has to speak to them for us as I can't understand them nor do I have the patience. Funnily though we haven't been down at all today.
