I'm in South Wales so can't do anything practical to help. Putting a button up is a great idea. Count me in.

hi all i think its a great idea to start a fund for tillys return so i will donate an ex/large waterproof dog bed in the colour of the winning bidders choice ALL

the proceeds will be donated to the fund and we will pay the postage to anywhere in the uk all our beds can be seen on www.jppets.co.uk IM NOT SURE HOW YOU INTEND TO ESTABLISH AN AUCTION BUT NO DOUBT IT CAN BE SORTED SO GET BIDDING :cheers: any questions please no not hesitate to contact me jim. dewhurstjim@hotmail.co.uk or jim@jppets.co.uk

could you start a new topic for each item ? heading of AUCTION and then what it is underneath , in this case WATERPROOF DOG BED then people could go straight to the auction topic of there choice ?
 
That is just what i was thinking If we put the item as the heading and then underneath Tillys Auction that way all the items can be viewed and i think if each person donates they monitor the item with a set period of time for it to last.

The monies can then be paid directly into the fund and the person whos item it is can be contacted to say the item has been paid for and can be posted.

What do u think or has anyone any other ideas how we can run the auction?

really hope u find her soon, every dog owners worst nightmare!!

Putting a missing poster in your car is a brill way of getting publicity. I do it for various other dog related reasons and you would be surprised who reads them in the car park, supermarkets etc very often i get post its on the windscreen for more info.

Try it !

You never know who will read it, esp as it may get to places other posters wont!

If everyone did it just think of the views!

Re the waterproof dog bed - is it one of the padded ones that you can put in a cage in the back of the car and hose off when it gets very grubby?

I need a small whippet collar if anyone wants to auction one of those. :)

I will also see if we have a 'Gypsy liasion officer' and get posters out to the neighbourhood watch administrators, that will cover avon and somerset force area.

IVE GOT ONE THAT MEASURES 15" FROM END TO END , DOSENT FIT MY ADULT WHIPPIES , BLACK LEATHER STYLE (NOT REAL LEATHER :b ) WITH FLOWER PATTERN ON , BRAND NEW , ALL YOURS IF THATS THE SIZE YOUR AFTER ?
 
I would like to auction a Limited Edition North Light sitting whippet, brindle and white. These pieces are made to order and I had two made for the shop, I will put a photo on tomorrow then everyone can see what they are bidding for along with accurate measurements. This piece has not been displayed in the shop and is still in its original packaging and in perfect condition.

How about we set up a paypal account for a fund to pay for advertising, petrol for anyone who needs to get anywhere to the rescue centres to look for her, and the reward.

This little dog needs to be home with Mally and I know the people on K9 feel the same so come on lets step this search up a gear and get her in all the papers but of course this all costs money.

We will be contacting Nigel and Judy to get the button on if everyone is in agreement.

WHEN Tilly is found what is left in the fund can go into the rescue fund.

This way keith we will raise a lot more money, than just donating a couple of quid....you send Mally some money and let the rest of us get on with this.....

its a good idea and will help bump up the funds
 
I think this is a great idea,it lets us that live far away help in what way we can
