Hi everyone,

I've just joined as we have new addition to the family in the form of a English Springer spaniel puppy (4 months old now) and I need the emotional support! He can be an absolute handful, and I'm absolutely knackered trying to keep up with him, but apart from that has been a model student. Thankfully we already have a 7 year old springer, who was a rescue so we know the new family member will calm down eventually. *Fingers crossed*

Welcome.

Is anyone else humming the Tigger song?

I'm so relieved you got that, otherwise this was going to go down as the weirdest welcome in the forum's history ...

Yep, me!

Welcome to the forum, DoneDog. Springers are lovely dogs, but I would never have one. They tire me out just watching them!

I'd advise only getting springer puppies during the summer when you can be out and about with them! It's hard at the minute when it's so cold outside.

Humming Tigger song also!
Springers are lovely dogs, but like JudyN, I'm exhausted just watching them.

How lovely we lost our Springer 18 months ago aged 15- yep they are not called Springers for nothing but are always so happy and super loving manic but moreish!

So sorry to hear you lost your springer. No matter the age it's still heartbreaking.

We've a wee army of springers starting now with our 2 and my parents have 1. Definitely great dogs.
