Who is going to the The Whippet Club this weeked at Haddenham?

What is the Whippet Club? Where is Haddenham? What is happening in the whippet club in Haddenham? And can anyone go?

The Whippet Club is a society supporting most things Whippetty .. Showing, Lure Coursing, Obediemce, etc.

Haddenham is near Thanet, near Oxford.

Sarurday is the Whippet Club Show to which anyone can go but can only take dogs who are entered before the closing date (which is long gone)

Can anyone tell me the exact venue and times?

Is it alright to bring along my pup for a bit of socialising?

Show opens 8.30am ... Judging 9.30am

Yes we are too.... we should have badges on to say we all go on k9!!!!!

the last show I went to there were people from k9 but never knew it!

:D Yes Dessie and I will be there. Sadly Diva's still in season, so cannot go :( but Sophie pup is entered nfc :D and is looking forward to meeting loads of new friends :thumbsup:

[SIZE=17pt]You DEFINITELY have my sympathy - I can think of little I would enjoy LESS[/SIZE] [SIZE=17pt]than sliding down a hill on two bits of wood (maybe being speyed again, or root canal work, would count).[/SIZE]
 
I am going, nothing entered but great to look at all the lovely Whippies and chat to like minded folks (Oh and the dogs need a new coat so great excuse to get in person and not via mail order!).

I don't have a K9 badge being new to the site ! But I hope to meet some of you there. I will have my 7yr old son with me, can't miss him as his Dad was African (RIP hubby....Oct 2004), so I'll be with the handsome brown boy !
 
We will be there, all the way from Scotland, hoping for good weather for travelling. Will hunt for k9 badge1 Unfortunately most of the girls are in season, but the boys will be coming and Truffle and her granny. Looking forward to seeing our pals from the south.
 
:lol: You'd love it! Nothing better than alpine air for clearing the head after a heavy night :p

The best thing about skiing is the afternoon tea when get back to the hotel, gateuxs, scones, cakes, homemade soup etc etc YUMMY!! Oh and of course free wine with dinner! :cheers:

Just a shame they don't do little whippet ski suits, I think Archie would be a natural, the way he slid down the porch roof that time! :lol:
