It is a mile from the village - and from two pubs! - and 4 miles from Alston, a lovely small market town with cobbled streets, real shops, dog-friendly pubs and cafes, and the South Tynedale Railway. Sunrise Cottage is just outside the Lake District and is also well-placed for exploring Hadrian's Wall, Hexham with its Old Jail and Abbey, Durham...
