Know how you feel here, maisie (who's been rehomed 4 times by 5 months) was hounded by 3 collies at local feilds when 8 months old, she then had slight nervous aggression and baked if dogs came to the garden, next door at our old house had their daughters gsdxbelgium shepx lurcherx collie thing that ripped thorugh 2 fences to get at maisei who was barking in HER OWN garden adn ripped 6 holes in maisie, they then had the cheek to say maisie was aggressive- she was 9 months old when this happened. Now i muzzle her in publis spaces if dogs are around, and keep her on the lead apart from with friends dogs or dogs with understanding owners who realise that if their dog doesn't jump on maisie she is a very friendly well socialised dog who wants to play. Even with her muzzle on and me holding her lead an dcollar and shouting at the dogs to go away peoplesay i should control my dog if she barks at their dog who happens to want to hump her (shes spayed) and jump all over her. They wouldn't like it if i unmuzzled her and shouted its ok she only wants to play !!

Hi just thought i would let you know Tip is doing great now, she has a new friend a little whippet called Hattie who has become her bodyguard, as she is not bothered about dogs who come galloping at her, she just faces them down and i,ve had no more incidents with dogs. Tip is now getting a bit more confident when she is out and will have a gallop with Hattie now and again. Tip was diagnosed with a heart murmur last month and gets tired easily now but is still eating and enjoying herself so I will have to see how things go regarding that.
