You will need a mentor. Putting a dog and bitch together is not straightforward and there is a lot that can go wrong, especially the first time for either.
Make sure whatever agreement you make is in writing. It is wiser to take a stud fee in case something goes wrong with the prospective litter, or they are raised in a way you don't like. If you decide you'd like a pup after all, you return the stud fee, which should be the price of one pup.
Remember people, we know nothing of the context here. This could be very much a hypothetical question, or the OP may already have researched the other aspects...
