Sad day for all who knew steve, looked up to both of them when i first came into whippet racing, Thought are for Julie and family.

A very sad day indeed our thoughts are with Julie and family, we had some great races against Mr Benn with Double Handfull none more so than the supreme run off at Measham, and later we used to chat when we were running our greyhounds on the open race circuit R.I.P. MATE. Les & Lynda.

so sorry to hear about steve he was a great bloke and good friend. me and rob had some great races and times with steve and julie mr benn v soft touch. i remember the time when steve brought mr benn to walthamstow with mick with jenny lane a lots of years ago great times and great memories will be sadly missed. rest in peace steve mate. our thoughts are with julie. jeff stevens and rob poole.
