Shitzu with dark bald spot

Hi I noticed a black scab under his fur
Around it a wound the scab has came off so I cut the fur its removed
Leaving a grey dark bald spot
Any idea what it is
Looks weird its healed not sore
Back of his neck 6 year old shitzu

Any lumps, bumps and bald spot really need a vet check - we can't diagnose here. Do please get your vet to have a look - it is quite possibly nothing to worry about at all, but it could be something nasty that needs treating sooner rather than later.
