Arrived to see that Alan had been down to the track again during the week and dug out and rotivated the next patch of the track that is being worked on, good job Alan, thank you and a thank you to ALL the diggers this morning who worked during the racing and those who stayed back afterwards in the miserable weather to clear and barrow away ready for the top soil to go on before turfing (think i got that right!). Good to see everyone mucking in and doing their bit to help :thumbsup: Looking good gentelmen from the lady (ok word lady used lightly) who watched from the warmth of the club house with a J2O in her hand. I know you will all appreciate Joyce and my mum were cold so I had to escort them into the warmth otherwise I would have barrowed a couple of loads too (w00t) :teehee:

Was good to see Wor Stag back after her bump the other week too its always nice to see dogs return from injury :thumbsup:

Well Done everyone, always nice to see a mix of pups, veterans and adults on the handicap. Glad to hear the work on the track is going so well, I can't wait to see it in the summer.

Another really good mornings racing again today. At first we thought it was going to be a shorter distance we were going to race over due to work being done on the field, but thanks to everyone for mucking in and moving the top soil by the time we had weighed in we were able to race over the normal distance. It was nice to see Ray and Rae this morning at the club (apologies Ray I did forget to mention if you wanted to race you had to move at least one barrow full of soil (w00t) ) hope you enjoyed your morning even so :thumbsup:

When the racing had finished it was really good to see those who could stay behind to help unload and lay the turf with Alan who had spent all morning leveling off the topsoil in preparation for the turf, big thanks to everyone for helping, its so good to see everyone giving a helping hand to make our track one to be proud of :thumbsup:

Glad you enjoyed your morning and yes I agree its a good :cheers: and a good price, I'm sure once the weather warms up there will be a few more of us taking refreshment in glass form, well I'm hoping so the club deserves our support for all they are doing for us :thumbsup:
