Hi everyone

Hope you are all well and enjoying the run up to Christmas!

We have a cocker spaniel who is quite fond of shedding. We also have a fabric sofa (purchased before Maisy ) and wondering what other people use to reduce dog hair and clean up their sofas?

Also what's anyone's suggestions for clothes? Washing obviously doesn't get rid of the hair, if only!!

Thanks in advance
Hannah

Leather for me too ...hide leather is warm and durable ...
If you have fabric then throws to protect furnishings especially in the winter

I changed to a leather sofa after getting Wilbur,
Great move,
Look on local Facebook, some great deals there.

Leather here too, but we had that before the dog! Those sticky rollers you can buy or reasonably good at removing hair from clothes (or a stiff brush when you go outside), but they don't last long and can't be good for the environment.

Haha, a Dyson vacuum and yes a sticky roller for clothes, I use them for my work clothes and they're great! And a fun tip, if you put a pair of trainers or something on your feet you can actually drag them across the carpet and it works for dragging the hair out of the carpet and then you just pick up the build up of fluff (crocs are really good for this if you have any, but anything else would probably work) :) ....but of course most importantly, regular brushing!
Even the dogs that are "no-shed" need regular brushing, the reason they are thought of as low shedding is because most of the dead hair just stays in their coat so it needs removing!
I see you have a spaniel? Shedding tools are good for them :) I use a shedding blade for my jack russell...like this one
